How to properly complete a fare in DriveLinQ for Multi-stop trips

Step 1) Accept the fare.

                Now you will see the trip information with the pickup address, the vias, and the drop off address

Step 2) Tap on the pickup address (example “1989 Camaro Ave. Columbus 43207”)

                Once selecting the address you will see two options

  1. “On Site”

  2. “Navigate”

Step 3) Select “Navigate” to get turn by turn directions to the address

Step 4) On arrival, tap on the pickup address again (example “1989 Camaro Ave. Columbus 43207”) but this time select “On Site”.

Step 5) Immediately press “ Pause” on the meter, senior options does not pay waiting time. The meter will only track mileage when paused.

Step 6) Once the passenger gets in your vehicle, tap on the pickup address again (example “1989 Camaro Ave. Columbus 43207”) but this time select “On Board”.

                Navigate to the next via (like before you can tap on the address to get turn by turn directions)

Step 7) Once you arrive at the that via, tap that via address (example “881 Forest St Columbus 43206”) and select “On Site”

Step 8) Tap vias address again and select “onboard”. Then the MED/EXP prompt and signature request will follow the “onboard” step. If you do not on-site and onboard at each via, you will not be able to complete the fare at destination      

Step 9) Have the passenger sign the tablet and select the green “Done” button.

Step 10) Take the tablet back and select the Green “Confirm” button

                Repeat steps 6-8 for each via listed on the trip information

Step 11) Navigate to the drop off address.

Step 12) Once you arrive at the drop off address, tap the drop off address (example”1989 Camaro Ave. Columbus 43207”) and select “Drop Off”

                Repeat steps 7 and 8 while acquiring the passenger’s final signature

Step 13) Select and process the appropriate payment method for the trip
