Important Outreach of Updates to Drivers

Drivers,

Due to the recent out break of COVID-19 we have begun to take measures to limit face-to-face contact at Columbus Yellow Cab. Such measures include:

  • Reducing the hours that CYC’s facility is open. Until further notice, our facilities at 1989 Camaro Ave. will only be open from UPDATE: 6:00am until 6:00pm Monday through Friday and will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. With this comes a reduction in available staff during those hours. Vouchers will not be affected and will continue to be processed.

  • Call Center representatives will be working remotely from home. Until further notice, call takers will be working from home. If you have any issue trying to get a hold of them, please make sure to take this into account.

  • Limited Lease Options. To limit the need of face-to-face contact, we will be halting all current lease options and will only be offering a $444 week lease and the current $120 weekend lease. This applies to all current and upcoming leases. If any drivers are currently on a different lease option, such as a 24hr or 12hr and would like to make the change to the $444 week lease, please contact Chris, Tyler, Mike, or Jack. Like an owner operator’s lease, drivers will be responsible for any damages that occur to the vehicle at this time.

  • We will be offering cleaning supplies. During hours of operation at our facility to help aid in the prevention and spread of germs, we will be offering supplies to help disinfect your vehicle and keep you safe. Please take advantage of this.

These changes are only temporary, but as we monitor the ever changing events, they will stay in place until further notice.
