Today is the first day of Taxi License renewal. Taxi License’s all expire on Wednesday July 31, 2019. You must have all of your paperwork turned in no later than 5:00pm on July 31st or you will not be able to login to work on Aug 1st. Please make sure you turn in all paperwork together. Envelopes with a checklist are available in the Driver Empowerment Office with Mike, Chris and Tyler.
Please make sure you bring the following items to Yellow cab:
Taxi License
Driver Abstract : you will need this to apply for your license as well
BCI copy: BCI needs to be sent to the license section @ 4252 Groves
Rd, Columbus, OH 43232. When you pick up your license you must ask for a copy of your BCI, they will not give it unless you ask.We recommend the DMV for the BCI and FBI checks. DMV is faster. FBI and BCI need to be submitted on separate forms.
FBI background check: This will need to be mailed to Chris Hairston @ 1989 Camaro Ave, Columbus OH 43207. Please use the reason code: 5126-28. Bring the receipt with you to the office with you other paperwork.
We will also need to make copies of your Drivers License and your Taxi ID
