Pricing for drivers:
PTI rates are as followed:
$1.70 per mile$0.35 per minute for wait time7.5% Tax
Picking up locally: Multiply the total miles from the pick-up location to the drop off location by $1.70.
(Example: Parsons yard to Marysville is 46 miles. 46 miles x $1.70 = $78.20
Picking up out of county and transporting back to Columbus: Driver will be paid ½ the miles from where s/he takes the call to the pick-up location plus the miles for the actual trip.
Example: starting location: Yellow Cab pickup: Marysville, OH drop off: Columbus, OH Driver Records total miles as 93 miles. Driver would be paid like such: 93/2 =46.5 (miles for actual trip) 46.5/2 =23.25 (½ miles from start location to the pick-up) 46.5miles+23.25 miles=69.75 miles. Driver would get paid for 69.75 miles @$1.70=$118.58
Picking up out of county and transporting out of county: Driver will be paid the full mileage from his starting location to the pick-up location to the drop off location
Example: Marysville Yard to Ridgeway yard is 29 miles, the miles from our office to Marysville for the pick-up is 46 miles. The driver receives 46+29=75 miles @$1.70 =$127.50
Driver can start counting wait time ONLY after the need time
Example: Driver waits at the Parsons yard from 11:15am to 12:30pm. PTI has requested a need time of 11:30am. Driver can only be paid for 60 minutes of his wait because you cannot have wait time before the need time
No Shows:
Before granting a no show you must send a code message to our dispatchers, and some one will call you and get the no show approved from PTI. You will need the authorization number and train number.
If a driver does receive a no show, the no show fee is:
For all no shows, the driver will be paid HALF of the miles to go get the trip plus wait time that has accumulated.
