Helping Seniors Stay Connected While Helping Kids Do Better In School
Foster Grandparents tutor children in need of support academically, socially, and emotionally. CSS wishes to nurture and instill a sense of pride in every child we tutor and show them that they are loved and with a lot of hard work, they can be the best that they can be.
The Foster Grandparent Program pairs volunteer seniors with at-risk youth in the Columbus community. The goal is to help children do better in school.
A Spirit of Independence
Many seniors have an independent that keeps them for asking for help when they need it. Many are also low-income and have various limitations that come with age. CSS’s Seton Properties service coordination helps low-income seniors live independently and live in their homes by providing them with extra help.
